With Fall season right around the corner, I can’t help but to daydream of all the wonderful things Fall fashion has to offer! Leather coats, sky-high boots, scarves, cardigans, hair berets, knee socks and so much more..not to mention the color change of the leaves. I’m in complete awe right now! ❤
Taking time out to enjoy the weather. Scenic views, what’s not to love!

You know when you were younger you liked to dress yourself which meant throwing on anything and everything – even if it did not match, you got away with it! Mixing prints, is kind of like that but now there is a twist to it to keep you looking fashionable correct. The key is to find pieces that have a common color scheme, theme or mood. Link items that have varied proportions or different textures. One item should be a stand out bold print, the other should be more subtle – meaning do not do two bright prints at once. Leopard print, is such a popular pattern, it is more like a “neutral” when mixing prints. Odd? Yes, but true. Fun, a little tricky, but if pulled together right, not only have you mixed patterns, but you will also “match”!

The key word to transition your Summer wardrobe to Fall is, layering! This is one of the quickest and least expensive ways to build your wardrobe and carry it from season to season. Instead of packing away the summer clothes, pull out the cardigans, chunky sweaters, blazers, scarves and stockings and continue to rock your summer looks into the new season!
STEP ONE: PICK A BASE PIECE
Can range from a dress, skirt, shorts, a romper, tank – this piece is summer friendly.
STEP TWO: Layer
This is where the outerwear and scarves come into play.
STEP THREE: Under Layer
Another option is to under layer your look with ladies stockings.
STEP FOUR: Accessorize
Pile on the accessories, add a belt – fall fashion is all about layering!

Animal print is always a popular pattern from season-to-season. Leopard print, is an instant way to add a sexy, sophisticated yet very glamorous touch to your outfit. There is nothing wrong with being a little catty from time to time. This is one pattern that will not cease, at least, anytime soon – so let the wild things enter into your wardrobe and allow your “inner animal” take control!

As we near the end of Summer and with the Fall season quickly approaching – a new color has started to make its way onto the scene, Olive. Not that we have not seen this color before, but expect to see it more frequently and in all items – shoes, outerwear, accessories, clothing items, handbags – this neutral color is making a huge move!

Not sure where to shop? I am constantly browsing retailers (both in store and online to find great products and deals). So every so often I will highlight a retailer with my top picks. Madewell since 1987, sister store of J. Crew, offers a variety of quality products – ranging from scarves, jewelry, handbags to leather coats. Although, the style seems similar to their parent store, Madewell offers a more laid-back, casual look.
